ipod touch's touch-screen not working suddenly

If this is your problem.. here is the solution :: 

ok well first ur gonna wanna do is a hard reset. press and hold the home and sleep button simultaneously and hold till u got apple logo on the screen and if that does not work, i would go to the apple store or call them. hope this helps. The same thing happened to my ipod touch 2g and its working fine now with hard reset itself.
