Swayam krushi Chiranjeevi He raises his dead sister’s son chinna(master arjun) and also finances orphaned sarada(sumalatha)’s education.His lover Ganga(Vijayasanthi) assists him in all his efforts. Later ganga sterilizes herself, so that nothing comes in between chinna’s growth and sambayya’s love towards him. Saarada is married to a good for nothing man, banerjee, who is a friend of Govind(charan Raj), who is inturn chinna’s biological father. Govind and banerjee team up and demand sambayya for chinna’s guardianship and takes away chinna. Chinna, unable to stand his father’s lifestyle rebels against him and sambayya takes him back after teaching govind a lesson. They start off their lives again with their profession as cobblers.This film’s box office success also proved chiru’s tranformation of image from an action hero to acting hero. Director K Viswanath’s efforts to present chiru in a modest, unusual role clicked and chiru won Nandi Award as best actor for this movie. Ramesh Naidu’’s compositions such as siggu poobanti, paarahushaar , hello hello were good hits.
