What is ABS (Anti-Lock Brakng System) ..?

ABS is related with brakes, it is a system with censors fitted on all 4 wheels. it is mainly beneficial on wet roads, hilly regions & corners.

when u brake hard the censors detect & give appropriate brake force on a particular wheel so that wat amount of force is needed the wheel gets that much only so ur car stays in the line. if there is no ABS in the car & when u apply haed brakes there are chances of wheel locking up & ur car can skid. with ABS it doesnt happen like this & ur car doesnot skid.

Simply, we can say ABS, keeps the car in control from no unwanted skids. ABS is basically suited more for wet & hilly areas.

Cars today come with advance tech of ABS called EBD – Electronic Brake Force Distribution, this determines the load condtion of front and rear axles and make differentiated adjustments to the breaking pressure.
